How to Naturally Boost Your Immune System
Here are my top tips to boost your immune system along with one of my favourite recipes!
There’s a number of ways to boost your immune system this winter ↓
✨Reducing stress and anxiety
✨Getting plenty of rest and sleep (at least 7 hours)
✨Eating foods which strengthen the immune system and upping your fruit, vegetable and fibre rich foods - think eat the rainbow with lots of orange, red, purple and dark green fruit and veg)
✨Daily moderate exercise (20-30 minutes per day)
✨Avoidance of toxic chemicals, drugs and high alcohol consumption
✨Practice meditation and relaxation techniques.
This immune boosting tea recipe is one of my absolute favourite recipes to naturally boost your immune system and it’s super delicious too 😘
Ingredients
- 1 thumb size of fresh ginger and fresh turmeric
- 1 lemon
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 1tsp Manuka honey
Method
Grate the ginger, turmeric, zest of the lemon and add to a saucepan of boiling water with half the lemon juice and the pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes, then add the honey and remaining lemon juice.
